I love my job and I liken it to working in a candy store. Every day I get excited about where people want to go and I love creating that dream for them so that it can become a reality. Last month, Susan had the pleasure of escorting a wonderful group of travellers through her home country of Sri Lanka, and what an unforgettable journey it was! 💛
From climbing the breathtaking Sigiriya Rock Fortress to visiting the sacred Temple of the Tooth, every day was filled with incredible experiences, rich culture, and stunning scenery.
The group explored lush tea plantations in the high country, enjoyed a magical high tea at the iconic The Grand Hotel, and experienced unforgettable safaris where elephants and wildlife roamed freely in their natural habitat. Along the south coast, they visited the famous stilt fishermen and connected with local village life through authentic cultural experiences, including travelling by bullock cart and catamaran before sharing a traditional homemade lunch with a local family.
What truly made the journey special was the warmth and kindness of the Sri Lankan people. Susan loved sharing the beauty, culture, and heart of her homeland with such an amazing group, creating memories that will last a lifetime. 💛
