How many spots do you recognise and how many have you visited?locations below ๐Ÿ‘‡

1. Waitanguru Falls
2. Arapuni Suspension Bridge
3. Duxfield Reserve waterfall
4. Wairere Falls (main access currently closed)

I think only a few people may have ticked off all 4.. Let's see

This is unlike any hiking trail we've done in New Zealand. ๐Ÿ˜ณ

This hidden piece of New Zealand history is far more than just a steep climb and butt buster..

๐ŸŒฟ Explore multiple walking tracks and historic railway inclines.

โค๏ธ We've visited 3 times and still keep finding new tracks and waterfalls.

๐Ÿ“ธ Tip: Take a photo of the track map at the start, it'll help you navigate all the different trail options.

๐Ÿ“The famous incline is called Butler's Incline, hidden in the beautiful Waiorongomai Valley, Te Aroha. Search "Te Aroha Mountain Gold Mining Walking Tracks" on Google Maps to find the trailhead.

Taranaki is FULL of amazing gems including waterfalls, caves, tunnels, beaches. It's a place where you can ski in the morning then head out for a surf in the arvo!

This spot was amazing to find! After a failed initial attempt, we asked around the locals and managed to get better directions.
