I was in Hamilton Gardens a couple of weekends ago where I had the privilege of conducting a ceremony for a lovely couple who wanted to get married without a lot of fuss. It was just them, their son and their best friends as witnesses.
Sometimes trimming it right back to the necessities reminds you what is really important.
It was such a lovely ceremony to be part of and on a sunny blue sky day the Hamilton Gardens is hard to beat.

Jacob and Rachel were married in March this year. We were all still trying to manage Covid and the complications it caused. Despite this added stress these two managed to craft a perfect day. They were surrounded by family and friends and the day was full of love and laughter. They both looked stunning and their bridal party scrubbed up pretty well too. Jacob and Rachel make a great team and I am sure their future will be full of adventures together. It was such fun and a privilege to share in their special day.

I recently received these photos of Bevan and Marlene’s wedding which was held at Woodland Estate earlier this year in February. It was one of the most thought-filled, intentional and emotional ceremonies I have had the pleasure and honour of being involved in. Not only did they make vows of commitment to each other but they also spoke words of support and commitment to their adult kids. It has been so lovely to look back through these photos and remember this special day. Congratulations again Mr and Mrs Campbell.

I had the absolute pleasure of conducting the ceremony for this gorgeous couple recently.
They weren’t able to have either set of parents present due to COVID-19 but they were surrounded and supported by a wonderful group of friends and other family members. It was so lovely to escape the stress of living through a global pandemic and be reminded of the important things in life – family, friends and love!

My last wedding for 2020 was for this awesome couple. It was held in a beautiful private garden and was the perfect day. Aiden & Alanna Froebel were already best friends and great parents to their gorgeous daughter and now they are husband and wife as well.
Congratulations Aiden & Alanna. Thanks for the privilege of being your celebrant. I loved being with you on your special day.

I had a nice surprise in my in-box recently. A lovely couple who I had a the honour of being celebrant for just over a year ago sent me some photo’s of their special day.
I remember it well because we held the ceremony under the cherry trees The Henley Hotel. The weather wasn’t looking great but we got through the ceremony before the rain came and the increasing wind caused the petals to float around us like confetti. I recently had the pleasure of conducting the ceremony for a lovely couple who, thanks to COVID-19, had to drastically alter their plans. It was very different to Plan A but it was full of meaning for them and special nonetheless. I look forward to sharing photos of this brave couple when they come through.
