Friday Lunch Club with Driving Miss Daisy!

Every Friday, our clients and a friendly Daisy driver gather for a delightful lunch at a local café or restaurant. It’s a wonderful opportunity to enjoy great food, share stories, and build friendships in a warm and welcoming environment.

In New Zealand, it’s marked by events, advocacy, and the “Lots of Socks” campaign, encouraging conversations about diversity. Supporting Dementia Hawke’s Bay – A Special Lunch with Driving Miss Daisy

Dementia Hawke’s Bay recently held a fantastic fundraiser auction, and we were thrilled to contribute! Driving Miss Daisy Hastings and Havelock North donated a transport and lunch package for four, offering a wonderful outing for the lucky winners.

In a delightful twist, the auction was won by one of our very own Daisy Driver’s husbands, who then gifted the prize to his Daisy wife Sandra! 💙 Instead of keeping it to herself, she extended the invitation to three of our wonderful clients, treating them to a special lunch. They were absolutely delighted and had a truly lovely time sharing good food, great company, and plenty of laughter.

Moments like these remind us why we do what we do—bringing people together, creating connections, and making every day experiences extra special. 💛

Every Monday, we take our lovely clients out for a relaxing morning tea. We visited Coop Coffee on Pakowhai Road, a café that was damaged by Cyclone Gabrielle. It’s heartwarming to see it thriving again, and we’re so pleased to support a local gem. 💛

Meeting Amazing Humans on Our Daisy Journey

As Driving Miss Daisy franchisees, we are incredibly lucky to meet some amazing people along the way. Our clients welcome us into their lives, sharing their stories and allowing us to celebrate their recovery after an injury or two.

While it’s always bittersweet to say goodbye when a client no longer needs our support, it’s rewarding to know that our Daisies have been there for them every step of the way. And of course, we’re always here whenever they need us again!
