Its that time of year again, if you are struggling on xmas gift ideas, you can't go wrong with the gift that keeps on giving.... a lure of coarse!
If its a big Blue Marlin you are after, you shouldn't leave home without an Ika Nui 'Cape Runner' lure in your arsenal, it is a well proven Blue Marlin magnet, they seem to love the action of this very active lure, which caught the heaviest Blue Marlin weighed in NZ for the 2018/2019 Sport Fishing Council season.

Congratulations Charlotte and family from the team at Ika Nui Lures, its the second Shortbill caught on an Ika Nui lure in the eastern bay (that we know of) so far this season, good luck for the rest of the season.

21.7 kg Shortbill for junior angler Charlotte Anderson caught today from her Dad's boat Bang On.
This is a new junior record for the club.
Well done Charlotte!
