The New Zealand Sea Lion is the rarest sea lion species found only in NZ and NZ Subantarctic Islands. Found near Waipapa Lighthouse in the Catlins. @ Waipapa, New Zealand

Sheep enjoying the view.
Lake Wanaka from Roy's Peak. One of my favorite photos from New Zealand. This was about two thirds of the way up the steep hike Roy's Peak (of course most of NZ is steep). It was a good place to catch my breath.

Hawksbill Sea Turtle chewing on some coral. I was lucky to see at least two of these critically endangered turtles while snorkeling around Gili Meno Island. There are only about 8000 nesting females left in the world.

Tired of the world being locked down!?… "Hang in there!" (Had to be said, sorry) Long-tailed Macaque- can be overly friendly, love to steal anything, and will climb up your back the first chance they get. I love monkeys but they can be quite mischievous creatures. This one kept it's distance from me hanging over a cliff while baby crawled up my back and another lay on a bench and showed me it's angry yellow grin.

Blue Banded Bee (Amegilla cingulata) landing on a sunflower in Bali, Indonesia. It was the only time I saw a blue be and was excited that it flew up. I just was taking a photo of the sunflower because it's disc florets were heart-shaped.💚
