This sign was designed by Saatchi & Saatchi and erected in 2012. It spells out "Wellington" with the last three letters "blown" upwards.

Chosen after a competition to create a permanent sign for a prominent Wellington hill. The sign celebrates Wellington's reputation as the world's windiest city.
