Happy 9th anniversary to us! 🎉

South Andes was born on a winter solstice, and that was never just a date on the calendar. On June 21st, we turned 9. Nine years of imagining, planning, and operating hundreds of journeys across the Andes and beyond.

This solstice marks the solar and agricultural new year: the moment the earth is thanked, one cycle closes, and new seeds are set. It's a time of prosperity, gratitude, and renewal. We like to think we were born into that rhythm on purpose.

Because that's what a journey really is: not just a trip, but the start of a new cycle. A chance to renew, to reconnect, to begin again.

This year, we quietly escaped with our whole team to do exactly what we love most: to travel, to live the outdoors, and to reconnect with nature. Because before we can guide others toward renewal, we have to live it ourselves.

Here's to the cycle ahead. And thank you for walking it with us. 🌱
