🌱In the Andes, August 1st marks the beginning of a sacred month dedicated to Pachamama or Mother Earth.

It is believed that in August, Pachamama “opens her mouth”, becoming receptive to all that is offered. That’s why we feed her first, offering seeds, coca leaves, chicha, and sweets, burying them into the soil as a sacred gesture to honor her.
