Argentina has a dual exchange rate system—official and “blue” (informal). Tourists can get much better value by exchanging USD or EUR at the blue rate, often 30–50% higher than the official rate. Use services like Western Union or reputable cuevas (money exchangers) to access the better rate legally and safely.
