The Lambe Cultural Group is formally registered with the National Cultural Commission (NCC) and is officially recognized under its provisions as a legitimate cultural group.

The group is acknowledged for its commitment to preserving and promoting traditional customs, heritage, and performing arts of Witu Island. Through its cultural significance and continued endurance, the Lambe Cultural Group actively participates in cultural festivals, national celebrations, and community events across Papua New Guinea.

The group plays an important role in safeguarding indigenous knowledge, strengthening cultural identity among younger generations, and representing Witu Island’s rich cultural heritage at provincial and national levels.

It highlights the remarkable journey of oil palm development while preserving and promoting our unique cultural heritage.
