The endangered species

Karawara island community at Duke of York has taken the lead to protect and control overfishing of turtles in our surroundings reefs and seas. Other nearby wards has been notified from 2014 to date that fishing unharmed turtles is an abuse to the marine habitat and the community by-laws. K500 spot fine or imprisoned for 6 months.

We need everyone else understanding and support to preserve and protect the endangered turtle species for the future generation.
