🚁 Project Update from the Helifix Hangar! 🚁

It’s been a little while since our last update, but trust us, the team has been hard at work! 💪

Our crew (Pictured: David & Harry Maggiu) has been putting in the effort to get "P2-POL" prepped and ready for paint. After some well-deserved care and attention, she’ll soon be heading for final fittings and won’t be on the hangar floor for much longer. ✈️

We can’t wait to see her back where she belongs, up in the skies!

Stay tuned for more updates from the Helifix Operations (Engineering) team. ✨

Taken 16/03/2010 . .. 2 of 4 helicopters brought in from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) without any contract and based on a "gut feeling" our principal Robert Agarobe had, that something was going to happen soon.

We took the bull by the horn and leased 4 x Bell 212 Helicopters. Business was quiet for a while and we unfortunately found ourself going into the red. Thanks to the entry of a new telecommunications company PNG , we provided support for their tower construction, followed by LNG kicking off and the rest is history.

After the lease expired with the Abu Dhabi choppers, we sent the helicopters back and eventuly purchased 3 x B212 of our own ( P2-HFR, P2-HFM, P2-HFJ).

Safe Reliable Air Charter

21 years ago Helifix started as a helicopter maintenance company, providing maintenance services to various clients both onshore here in PNG and overseas. Having only 1 employee, the owner, a fully licensed helicopter engineer himself, successfully served 5-6 different clients at one time, ensuring zero down-time to all of them.

Today, 14 years after we ventured into charter operations, we boast a globally qualified workforce of over 60 including pilots, engineers, technical and management staff, dedicated to continuing the legacy of our principal & founder Robert Agarobe, to provide a safe, reliable and quality service to our patrons.

Our current fleet of 14 aircraft's is made up of 11 helicopters & 3 fixed wing (planes).
