The Moustached Kingfisher (Actenoides bougainvillei), also known as the Bougainville Moustached Kingfisher, is a type of bird found only on Bougainville Island in Papua New Guinea and no other place in the world. Sadly, there are only about 250 to 1,000 of these birds left.

Tonight we had the pleasure of co-hosting celebrations for the 40th anniversary of PNG and China bilateral relations and the 67th anniversary of the founding of the PRC.

What an awesome evening of art, culture and friendship with performances from both PNG and China. The event also saw the grand opening of the International Convention center by the Ambassador of China to PNG.

To end the event, the Schenzen Art company gave a thrilling performance which was greatly enjoyed by all.

As the pictures from the event show, we are excited and looking forward to next year's celebrations.
