EXTRA 3KGS FOR IN-CABIN BAGGAGE 👀

Heads up, travelers! Starting September 15, 2026, local low-cost carrier Cebu Pacific is increasing its hand carry baggage allowance from 7 kilograms to 10 kilograms for all 5J flights.

The carrier confirms the new policy on social media platform X, after posts circulated online. “Please be advised that starting September 15, 2026, our hand-carry baggage allowance will be updated to 10kg per passenger,” wrote Cebu Pacific.

Passengers are also reminded to ensure their carry-on baggage complies with the applicable size and weight requirements for a smoother travel experience.

As of writing, every passenger is allowed:
- One (1) hand carry baggage, with dimensions of up to 56cm x 36cm x 23cm (22in x 14in x 9in)
- One (1) personal item with a maximum size of 20 cm x 20 cm x 36 cm (8in x 8in x 14in)

Totoo bang wala nang immigration interview sa NAIA kapag aalis ng bansa? 🤔

Yes, totoo ito! Pero take note, hindi lahat ng Filipino travelers ay qualified sa Departure E-Gates.

Sino ang pwedeng gumamit ng Departure E-Gates?

✅ Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) na bumiyahe gamit ang API-compliant airlines at may valid travel documents na naka-link sa Bureau of Immigration system.

✅ Ilang returning o frequent Filipino travelers na eligible sa Bureau of Immigration system. Ang eligibility ay depende sa travel records ninyo at ire-redirect kayo ng immigration staff kung qualified kayong gumamit ng e-gates. Makikita ninyo sa etravel app kung qualified ka or hindi.

Mga dapat tandaan:

✔️ Hindi lahat ng passengers ay qualified sa Departure E-Gates.

✔️ Siguraduhing nakapag-register sa eTravel bago ang inyong flight.

Mas mapapabilis ang departure process kung eligible kayo ( para no more tanong at kaba 🤭) , pero kung hindi, dadaan pa rin kayo sa regular immigration interview.
