Celebrate the Spirit of Christmas in Baguio Cityβ¨
The holidays are here, and thereβs no better way to kick off the season than by joining the City Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony and the SLU Lantern Paradeβtwo beloved events that bring light, joy, and community to the heart of Baguio.
The festivities will begin with pre-show performances by the University of Baguio Voices and will be followed by the announcement of winners of the An Enchanting Christmas Dance Contest and Best Decorated Session Road Establishment. This will be followed by Christmas songs and carols performed by the talented Saint Louis University (SLU) Band, filling the air with melodies that warm the soul. Then, the magic unfolds as the cityβs towering Christmas tree comes to life, its lights illuminating the night and spreading the spirit of hope and unity. The countdown to the lighting will be ushered by the University of the Cordilleras Dance Company.
Right after the tree lighting, look to the skies for a breathtaking fireworks display by SM City Baguio, painting the cool evening with dazzling colors. And as the night continues, the enchanting SLU Lantern Parade will take center stage, featuring beautifully crafted lanterns that celebrate the artistry and traditions of the season.
