A week has passed since the lights dimmed on the Tan-ok ni Ilocano Festival of Festivals, yet the pride and memories of that remarkable moment continue to linger in our hearts.
Did we lose? If we look only at the rankings, perhaps. But beyond the numbers, Bangui emerged victorious in the hearts of every Banguiรฑo. On that stage, we proudly shared our story, Bangui as the mother town of the northern municipalities of Ilocos, whose history and influence helped shape the neighboring communities we know today.
We salute our performers who courageously took on the challenge of representing our municipality despite the long and exhausting rehearsals. Your dedication, passion, and pride carried the true spirit of Bangui onto the Tan-ok stage.
Our heartfelt gratitude also goes to the parents, guardians, and schools who entrusted their children and students to be part of this meaningful journey. Your trust and support made this endeavor possible.
We extend our sincere thanks to the Local Government Unit of Bangui, especially the support staff and medics, for their tireless work behind the scenes. Your commitment ensured that everything was carried out smoothly and safely.
Our appreciation as well to our local officials, led by Hon. Mayor Denton Garvida, for their encouragement, guidance, and unwavering support throughout this undertaking.
And to the local creatives of Bangui who poured their hearts and talents into bringing this powerful narrative to life, thank you for helping us share the great story of our town.
The rankings may tell one story, but the pride we felt, the heritage we celebrated, and the unity we displayed remind us that Bangui stood tall and victorious. ๐ฌ๏ธ๐
