Went back to Apo Nena Bed & Breakfast the second time around for a quick coffee and chat with friends. This is a haven for those who want a quick escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. The ambiance of the place is to die for, it’s like being transported to a calming sanctuary for you andyour friends.

We didn’t stay overnight (although I think you can), but we stayed for a while and enjoyed their scrumptious meals at their cafe while enjoying the ambiance of nature.

Apo Nena is found in Santa Maria, a town in Ilocos Sur south of Vigan.

Finally had the chance to visit IKAN DAMPA, a famed seafood restaurant situated near the coast of Caoayan, Ilocos Sur. Seafood lovers with an itch for something fishy would surely love this charming place by the beach. They offer a wide array of fresh seafood goodness: from freshly caught fishes to delectable crustaceans. Have I brought more people with me, we could have ordered more. ✨

Good food, good place. The seaside ambiance is to die for. Just prepare your Waze or ask locals so you won’t get lost.

The year did not turn out the way we wanted it to be. Our travel plans ended up in the bin, our flights were cancelled, our goals postponed. COVID-19 hit us so hard.

Here’s to hoping for a better and brighter year ahead. Good riddance to 2020.
