MECHANICS | GUIDELINES | CRITERIA | PRIZES

THEME: PANLUGAHIT: DISCOVERING THE UNDICOVERED BAROTAC VIEJO

Competition Guidelines:

a. Only ONE (1) original entry per participant is allowed. Photo must be of an attraction/potential tourist attraction within BAROTAC VIEJO.
b. The competition is open to photos taken ONLY using MOBLIE PHONE CAMERAS.
c. Photographs that have won in any national/ international photography contest will be disqualified.
d. Submission of entries shall be deemed as express permission by participants to allow BAROTAC VIEJO MUNICIPAL TOURISM COUNCIL to feature said photos in all collaterals that may be
produced by the municipality. Photo credits shall be duly given in all print and video collaterals.
e. The caption must indicate the place in Barotac Viejo where the image was taken, and must have an accurate yet creative description of what the photo is about. All entries must be sent to [email protected] with the SUBJECT: PHOTO CONTEST. Wait for the Admin’s reply for the Confirmation of Entry.
f. Deadline of Submission: September 25, 2023. The submission will automatically close and reject any entries that will be submitted after the deadline.
g. Online Votation Duration: September 26-29, 2023. Casted vote/reactions on the official Turismo Barotac Viejo page is equivalent to 1 point and sharing is equivalent to 1 point.
h. Schedule of Judging and Deliberation : September 30,2023
i. Announcement of Winners : October 2, 2023.
j. OPEN TO ALL photography enthusiast in the country

Technical Guidelines:

a. Photo entries must be in full-color. Grayscale and sepia entries will be disqualified.
b. Images must not be digitally enhanced or altered with special effect or artificial intelligence E.g. (colorizing, toning, collage, photo composites, stitched panoramas, high dynamic range or HDR images, etc.).
c. Only one minor adjustment in the color. Sharpness, contrast or digital equivalents are acceptable.
d. The entry to be submitted should be in a JPEG or PNG format with a corresponding “photo title” and “photo caption” and Name of Photographer, Age, Address,, Mobile Phone Used.

𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐍𝐊 𝐘𝐎𝐔, 𝐒𝐀𝐆𝐈𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐘 𝐈𝐋𝐎𝐈𝐋𝐎! As part of Sagility’s Social Corporate Responsibility initiative, an enlightening health and hygiene session was conducted for the Indigenous Peoples' (IP) children in Sitio Nagpana, Barangay Lipata, Barotac Viejo. They also provided essential items including hygiene kits, school supplies, and slippers. The enthusiasm displayed by the IP children during the session was truly heartwarming.

Guided by their "Collective Passion in Action" ethos, Sagility imparted invaluable knowledge on health practices, nurturing not only minds but also a healthier future for these children.
