La moitié des recettes du film documentaire "Yatra" en vidéo à la demande seront reversées à notre associations et à Karuna Shechen qui aide à renforcer l'éducation, la santé et le développement des communautés Himalayennes du Nord de l'Inde et du Népal.

Qui n’a jamais rêvé d'un endroit où les enfants seraient nourris à leur faim ? Où ils seraient capables de penser et d’étudier correctement ? C’est l’aspiration première des membres de Mother & Child, qui se mobilisent pour faire de ce rêve une réalité.

Mother and Child en action
Le constat est simple, un enfant bien nourri est un enfant actif. Pourtant, la majorité des enfants scolarisés dans les régions rurales pauvres des Philippines partent à l'école sans être suffisamment alimentés, ce qui peut causer des problèmes de concentration et d'assimilation des cours.
L’intention de Mother &Child est de fournir un "snack" diététique à chaque enfant se rendant à l’école. Si cela peut paraître accessoire, l’intérêt est pourtant bien réel car un écolier suffisamment nourri est synonyme d'un fonctionnement actif de la pensée, nécessaire au bon développement de l’enfant.

Aider les enfants de Bohol
L’association Mother & Child a choisi d’aider les enfants de Bohol. Située dans la partie centrale des Philippines, Bohol reste, en dépit du tourisme qui s’y développe, un endroit encore isolé des îles principales. De plus, les Philippines bénéficient d’un programme alimentation à l'échelle nationale mais l’île de Bohol ne figure pas dans cette liste…
Mother & Child a donc débuté son programme d’aide alimentaire en 2011, à l'école primaire de Cambanac, Baclayon de Bohol. Grâce à la généreuse contribution des premiers membres, l’association peut aujourd’hui s’occuper d’une seconde école primaire sur l'île, et ce n’est que le début !

Pour permettre à toutes les nouvelles générations d’enfants de bénéficier de cette aide alimentaire, et pour l’étendre au plus grand nombre, Mother & Child a besoin de vous !
