Can we truly call it "development" if it leaves our country drained?

Pax Silica is a US-backed plan to build a 4,000-acre Economic Security Zone in New Clark City. Masked as high-tech AI development, it exploits our critical minerals (nickel, copper, cobalt) for foreign corporate and military interests. The promise of "development" only serves to hide the corporate plunder of our land, growing reliance on foreign powers rather than boosting local industries.

The hidden cost? AI data centers demand massive amounts of water for cooling. This proposed hub could drain an estimated 5 to 20 million gallons of water daily, severely straining local water systems and depriving nearby communities, especially during hot seasons.
