ATTENTION, TRAVELERS!
The new management of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) has imposed higher parking rates starting today, Oct. 1.
In a letter dated Sept. 30, the New NAIA Infra Corporation (NNIC), a conglomerate led by San Miguel Corporation, said the parking rate for cars is worth P50 for the first two hours, from P40. It's P20 for motorcycles and P100 for buses.
Succeeding hours would mean an additional P25 (cars), P20 (motorcycles), and P50 (buses) per hour or a fraction thereof.
The overnight parking rate for cars, meanwhile, is now worth P1200, from P300. It's P480 for motorcycles, and P2,400 for buses.
"These adjustments are necessary to ensure continued maintenance and improvements to our facilities," the NNIC said.
