The Mountain Village of Al Reeth, Jazan, Saudi Arabia
What is remarkable in Saudi Arabia is the seamless functioning of the public service utilities network, which effectively connects people to services both electronically and manually. For instance, in the small town of Al Reeth, a mountain village home to the Black Mountain, Wadi Lajab, and Jabal Al Qahar, you can still find gas stations and bank ATMs. It is located 118 km north of Jazan City.

The Feared Mountain in Jazan - Jabal Duqm (Dukom)
People are discouraged from climbing this mountain because of the phantasm that it is inhabited by the king of specters, spooks, and boggards and their reign. In Arabic, they call these supernatural beings as Jins (maligno, engkanto in Filipino). According to the stories, several of them ignored the warning and climbed to the top. But upon reaching the peak, a sudden force broke in, pushed them, and they fell dead at the base of this mountain. I even tried to convince my guide to climb with me during my visit because I wanted to take a shot of the plain valleys surrounding the mountain, which look stunning, but he refused outright.

It was late afternoon already when we got here.
Anyway, whether you believe it or not, I advise listening to the locals and letting them guide you. So, all I had to do was take a selfie.
