The City Government of Bislig, under the leadership of Hon. Mayor Florencio Enciong Garay, through the City Administratorโs Office-Tourism Operations Division, headed by Ms. Lorelei Teresa D. Lim, will officially stage 1st Sayaw Ug Hulagway 2026, a cultural and artistic celebration in line with the National Arts Month 2026.
The event will be held on February 20, 2026, Friday, at the Bislig City Cultural and Sports Center, highlighting the richness of Bisliganon culture and arts through dance and visual creativity.
Sayaw Ug Hulagway 2026 will feature a Stylized Folk Dance Competition with the participation of ten (10) elementary schools, showcasing culturally inspired performances that reflect local heritage, traditions, and artistic expression. In addition, the celebration includes an Art Workshop and an Arts Exhibit, where the creative outputs produced during the workshop will be displayed at the venue.
The activity aims to promote cultural awareness, artistic development, and community participation, particularly among the youth, while strengthening appreciation for Bisligโs cultural identity.
The City Government of Bislig invites the public to witness and support this significant cultural milestone as it celebrates creativity, tradition, and artistic excellence in honor of National Arts Month.
