Good news para sa mga taga GENSAN

🔵 AirAsia is set to make a comeback at General Santos International Airport, starting with a planned GenSan-Cebu route as part of efforts to maximize its Cebu Hub, according to the City Economic Management and Cooperative Development Office (CEMCDO). City officials also reiterated their request for the airline to reopen the GenSan-Manila route.

During their visit, AirAsia representatives also met with key travel agencies in General Santos City and the SOCCSKSARGEN Region.

A long-term possibility was also discussed to fully operationalize the airport's international capacity, with local officials pitching the city as AirAsia's potential international hub in Southern Philippines.

Update for travellers !!!

Starting November 1, 2022, an eArrival Card will be required from all inbound travelers arriving in the Philippines prior departure from their country of origin.

The Bureau of Quarantine observes an e-Arrival Card scan-and-go system in our airports for ease of travel. To ensure enjoyment of this, arriving travelers should register for an eArrival Card within 72 hours prior their departure via onehealthpass.com.ph or by scanning the blue code above.

JUST IN: OEC, MAGIGING DIGITAL NA SIMULA OCTOBER 2022!

"Yung sa OEC inaayos din namin. Gagawin na natin na paperless o mobile phone ready ang OEC. By October 15, magdadownload na lang kayo ng OEC sa telepono at yun na lang ang ipapakita ninyo sa embassy at airport natin."

Hinayag ni Department of Migrant Workers Sec. Susan T***s Ople na inaasahan ng kagawaran na magsisimula nang maging Digital ang OEC ng mga OFW simula sa darating na October 15, 2022.
