Another rare moment for the Municipality of Claveria ✨🎉🙏🏻

Out of all the attendees at the ATOP convention in Baguio City, only five LGUs were granted the rare opportunity to have a one-on-one meeting with TIEZA—the Tourism Infrastructure and Enterprise Zone Authority, the implementing arm of the Department of Tourism for infrastructure projects.🤝✨

It was a privilege and honor to be among those selected for this focused conversation with Ms. Janette Christine Ocampo, Manager of the Business Development Department of TIEZA. The dialogue provided a valuable platform to present our tourism initiatives and explore possible infrastructure support from the national government.💙🇵🇭

Being chosen for this engagement signifies that we are on TIEZA’s radar for future tourism development projects.

This recognition underscores the potential of our tourism efforts and motivates us to continue working towards sustainable and inclusive tourism growth in our locality.

This casting call is for the upcoming film
"Sa Lilim ng mga Pakpak na Ipininta ng Hangin" (In the Shadow of Wings Painted by the Wind), directed by Rommel Galapia “Rocket” Ruiz. 🙏🏻🤝

The production is currently in search of supporting actors and background talents, specifically calling on residents of Claveria to audition.

They have identified different filming sites in Claveria, hence this opportunity to cast local talents.✨

This initiative is a collaborative effort between the Municipal Government of Claveria led by our Municipal Mayor, Hon. Lucille Angelus Guillen-Yapo, and LGU Sanchez Mira organized through the Municipal Tourism Office, likely aiming to showcase and involve local talents in the arts. 🎥

🌱 Simultaneous Bamboo Planting: A Green Initiative🌱

Yesterday, our team joined a meaningful activity led by the Environmental and Solid Waste Management (ESWM)—the planting of bamboo seedlings in the mountains of Barangay Kilkiling as part of the Simultaneous Bamboo Planting.🌱

More than just a one-day effort, we learned that ESWM actually dedicates their Saturdays to bamboo planting, a true testament to their commitment and dedication to environmental protection. This initiative not only helps expand forest cover but also prevents soil erosion, keeps the air clean, and strengthens the balance of our ecosystem.🌳🌴🌱✨

Bamboo, known as the “grass of life,” is not only durable and useful in daily life but is also a vital natural resource that promotes sustainability and resiliency. Through planting bamboo, we are reminded that small actions can yield lasting benefits for future generations.🙏🏻✨

This initiative serves as a clear reminder that caring for the environment does not end with a single event—it is a continuous commitment.
