4-5hours drive from Dumaguete.
Lots of accommodations to choose from. You can go snorkeling or scuba diving or hike to the hill and take photos from the viewdeck.
There's also alot of other beaches in the other neighboring baranggays to explore.

La Guada is one of the most affordable and accessible coffe stopover whenever ur driving the DSB (Don Salvador Benedicto, Negros Oriental) road. They have some other food offers too.

Distance: 187 kilometers from Dumaguete City.

Duration: 3-4hrs travel from Dumaguete City.

There are resort that u can stay. Accommodations starts at 2500/room good for 2 pax. Nice and quiet place as for now. Not so touristy.

Recommended stay: 1 week and bring a book (that if u love reading).

Other things to do: explore nearby beaches thru motorbike, do island hopping, try scuba diving, talk with the locals. Theres some fresh catch in the morning, u can buy some and cook ur own food. I have camping cook set with me so I do cook my own food most of the time (yea some resorts here including takatuka resort allow u to prepare ur own food). I save money and I love doing it since theres nothing much to do on vacation. That keeps me busy while the sun is too hot to play in the beach.

Going there: You can drive your own car or motorbike or take the ceres bus to Sipalay, then hail a tricycle to take you to sugar beach.

Or rent a car or motorbike from RODG Rent a Car Dumaguete and enjoy the rest of ur trip. or Avail a tour package from RODG Travel and Tours.
