For seafarers, OFWs, and travelers, it is important to know the restrictions on check-in luggage and hand carry at the airport to avoid delays, fines, or confiscation of items.
๐ Prohibitions in Check-in and Hand Carry at Airport

HAND CARRY IS NOT ALLOWED (CABIN BAG)
๐งณ Usually, hand carry is only 7 kg. Here are the STRICTLY NOT ALLOWED:
โ Sharp stuff
โข Swordsman, knife, scissors
โข Screwdriver, blade, tools
Even if it's small, it's really forbidden.
โ Liquid exceeding 100ml
โข Lotion, shampoo, toothpaste, perfume
โข Water, softdrinks, milk
It should only be in 100ml per container and can fit in a 1-liter transparent ziplock.
โ Lighter, delayed
โข Torch lighters are not allowed
โข There is only one lighter that can be carried and it should be in the pocket, not in the bag
โ Power bank exceeding 27,000 mAh (100 Wh)
โข Check how expensive your power bank is.
โข Should be in hand carry only, check-in is not allowed.
โ Explosives, fireworks, toy guns, stun gun
Whether toys or prop, not allowed in the cabin.

โ Power bank, lithium batteries
โข Should be in hand carry only
โข Not allowed to check-in even when off
โ Flammable liquids/chemicals
โข Alcohol (in large amounts), paint, thinner, fuel
โข V**e juice that's over the limit
โ Explosives, fireworks, dynamite, etc.
โ Live animals (unless with permit/pet cargo)
โ Compressed gas tanks / Spray paint
โ Perishable food that is easily broken or has a strong smell
โข Bagoong, durian, raw fish (without proper packaging)
๐ Can Be Carried But With Limit
โ๏ธ V**e or E-cigarette
โข Should be in hand carry
โข Maximum 2 devices only and put in the case
โข Max 2 bottles of juice only (100ml each)
โ๏ธ Medicines
โข Take a prescription if you are taking medicine
โข Put in hand carry and don't forget the doctor's note if injectable (like insulin)
โ๏ธ Food Souvenir (Baked Goods, Chocolates, Dried Fish)
โข Suitable for check-in if sealed and the packaging is good
โข It's better at check-in so it won't be visible during inspection

โข Too many canned goods (especially 6+ cans)
โข Alcoholic drinks that exceed the limit (usually only 2 bottles allowed)
โข Water in hand carry โ you will just buy it after immigration
