Baguio City, the country’s summer capital, has opened its doors to all domestic tourists and is not anymore requiring swab tests before entry.

According to the latest updated guidelines released by the Baguio City tourism office, as of March 2, 2021, all tourists just need to register on https://visita.baguio.gov.ph and triage upon arrival.

Here’s how:

✅Create an account and register your travel at https://visita.baguio.gov.ph. You can save or print QTP that you will receive in your email.

Please note that each person must register with an uploaded valid ID and a current photo. For Minors, they may use their parent/guardian’s ID.

✅Upon Arrival, the border officers will es**rt you to the designated triage. Prepare your QTP and present it to triage officers for health declaration validation.

Visitors found to have symptoms shall undergo RT-PCR testing and will be quarantined until results are released.

✅Tourists are also reminded to follow the city laws and ordinances and practice the minimum health and safety protocols.

As part of measures to contain COVID-19, President Duterte orders ban of air, sea and land travel to and from Metro Manila from March 15 to April 14, 2020. | via Christina Mendez

In a DZMM interview, DILG Secretary Eduardo Año clarified the travel restrictions that were announced by President Duterte:

•Check points will be placed within the boundaries of Metro Manila.

•Employees who work in Metro Manila but reside outside the metro will be allowed to go to work, provided that they will present IDs at checkpoints.

•The private sector is encouraged to devise a work from home setup and allow a flexible working schedule to lessen the number of commuters.

•The Department of Transportation will impose measures on social distancing in buses, LRT, and MRT.

•Año said the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases will convene on March 13, 2020 to discuss implementing guidelines on the resolution regarding COVID-19.
