Paving the Way for a Brighter Tourism Future! 🏔️
Stepping forward into a new era of eco-tourism! We recently concluded the GDP Locals/Community Tour, a strategic site immersion led by our visionary Municipal Mayor, Hon. Rogelio B. Bicasan Jr.
This trek wasn’t just about the view; it was about the vision. Alongside our Mayor were the dedicated members of the Sangguniang Bayan, ensuring every pillar of our community is represented:
• Hon. Andrew S. Onie (Tourism, Environment & Natural Resources)
• Hon. Hunts D. Ciriaco (Agriculture & NGOs)
• Hon. Donnie Mar B. Ciriaco (Education, Media & Public Affairs)
• Hon. Lyrics Eid P. Wacan (PPSK President – Sports & Development)
The goal is clear: to identify and provide the necessary key components and infrastructure development required to elevate the Tirad Pass Peak experience. By assessing the terrain firsthand, we are ensuring that future developments are sustainable, safe, and world-class.
Special thanks to the Tourism Office led by Sir Macario D. Burgos III, and the MDRRMO team headed by Ma’am Franchely G. Cantoria and Sir Robert C. Lawaguey for their technical expertise.
Our deepest gratitude goes to our Forest Guards, the true stewards of our mountains who paved the way.
Also, heartfelt thanks to the Brgy. Officials of Dapdappig headed by Punong Barangay Mark Nuyda Mayores and his subordinates for their full support and cooperation in making this trek activity successful.
