LOOK I In celebration of National Heritage Month, the Local Government of Bangar, under the leadership of Mayor Joy Pinzon Merin, has been conferred a Certificate of Compliance from the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) for the successful submission of a compliant and acceptable local cultural inventory to the Commission.

This recognition highlights the municipality’s steadfast commitment to preserving and promoting Bangar’s rich cultural heritage in accordance with Section 14(b) of the amended National Cultural Heritage Act of 2009 (Republic Act No. 11961). The achievement reflects the collective efforts of the local government in safeguarding the town’s history, traditions, cultural properties, and identity for future generations.

The Local Government of Bangar continues to strengthen its cultural initiatives and heritage preservation programs, reaffirming its dedication to honoring the past while inspiring pride and unity within the community.
