Laguindingan to South Korea direct flights

LAGUINDINGAN AIRPORT EYES DIRECT KOREA FLIGHTS TO BOOST NORTHERN MINDANAO TRAVEL

Aboitiz InfraCapital is preparing to introduce international flights from Laguindingan International Airport, targeting a direct route to Incheon International Airport in Seoul, South Korea as early as next year.

The proposed flights aim to enhance connectivity and increase tourism and trade opportunities across Northern Mindanao. Coordination for the new international service is ongoing, with official launch details and exact dates to be announced upon finalization.

Inaasahang bahagyang bababa ang pamasahe sa eroplano sa Oct. 16-31 matapos ibaba ng Civil Aeronautics Board (CAB) ang fuel surcharge sa Level 16 mula sa kasalukuyang Level 17.

Sa ilalim ng Level 16, P525 hanggang P1,535 ang dagdag na singil para sa fuel surcharge sa local flights, at P1,733.76 hanggang P12,891.29 para sa international destinations.

JUST IN: Holiday travel is about to get more costly as the government raised the fuel surcharge included on airfares to Level 17 from Level 14 in response to higher jet fuel prices.

Under Level 17, passengers may pay an additional ₱559 to ₱1,635 for local flights and between ₱1,846.10 to ₱13,726.58 for international flights, according to the Civil Aeronautics Board. | via Dexter Barro

FLY to BUKIDNON (Don Carlos Airport) starts this DECEMBER 2026

If you're going to Bukidnon, you don't fly to Bukidnon. You land in CDO, grab your bags, find a ride, spend the next few hours getting there.

A hell of a toll for a place with this much to see.

Mountains and pineapple country and Dahilayan and Lake Apo, cold mornings in your face on a road disappearing into green.

Maybe not much longer.

The new airport in Don Carlos is supposed to start commercial operations this December.

God willing.
