I welcomed the DENR-CENRO Cantilan to my office for a coordination meeting, where they conducted an orientation on eco-tourism operations in our municipality, with an emphasis on our caves and wetlands. We discussed the significance of maintaining these natural treasures while also investigating their potential to foster eco-friendly tourism and community-based livelihoods.

We are proud to restore the weekly Clean-up Drive, also known as HATAW, every Thursday afternoon, which is organized by a host department from the LGU in collaboration with National Line Agencies. This campaign promotes not only environmental stewardship but also community and public servant togetherness.

HATAW began during my previous term as a weekly activity shared by both local government employees and national line agencies. It was more than just a cleanup campaign; it provides an opportunity for our employees to participate in beneficial outdoor activities that promoted not only environmental care but also physical and mental wellness.

Let's work together to preserve Lanuza's legacy, maintaining its reputation as the Cleanest and Greenest Municipality as before. 🌳💚

TABO RELOCATED TO A MUCH SAFER AREA , MORE SO FOR A CLEANER & GREENER LANUZA!🌴🌳🌱🍀🌿🍃

This early morning, I stopped by our local vendors' new site (TABO) to personally check on their setup and more importantly to listen to their feedbacks. Hearing their appreciations, ideas and comments and even concerns made me realize how vital they are to our local economy.

The relocation of the new TABO is to enhance also the orderliness and clean up drive of the locality, the town itself being adjudged as the Cleanest and Greenest Municipality of the Phils, decades ago.

During my visit, I enjoyed roaming around and buying some of their fresh fruits, farm products & vegetables which come right from the farm to the table! I also had the opportunity to meet a few Lanuzanhons who were visiting and we had a light and profound talk about the changes they had witnessed. Nothing compares to the taste of local produce and the friendly faces of our dedicated sellers. 🥬💚
