Three priests, who are also climbers, from Romblon and Capiz held a mass at the summit of Mt. Guiting-Guiting on Sibuyan Island, Romblon recently.

According to Father Albert John Fietas of the Diocese of Romblon, this is his second time this year climbing the summit of Mt. Guiting-Guiting. He has long dreamed of conducting a mass at the summit.

"I asked God for 30 minutes to stop the rain; he gave us one hour and a 360-degree view of Sibuyan Island," said Father Albert.

Also, pls make sure your joiners are seasoned mountaineers or had an experience in climbing difficult mountain to scale.

For the first timer, pls be advised to go for major hike to other mountains before climbing Mt. Guiting - guiting Natural Park as part of your preparation.

Do not rush in climbing our beloved mountain. Mt. Guiting - guiting will wait for you when you are ready.

Be physically, mentally, financially, and emotionally ready.
