Pero sa science, ito ay total lunar eclipse pumapagitna ang mundo sa araw at buwan, at red light lang ang nakakalusot sa atmosphere.
Signos ba? O simpleng galaw ng nilikha?
FACT: Ang Blood Moon ay resulta ng total lunar eclipse.
Hindi nawawala ang buwan nagiging mapula lang ito dahil sa pagdaan ng liwanag ng araw sa atmosphere ng mundo bago tumama sa buwan.

MAS LUMAKAS PA!

Mas lumakas pa ang Tropical Storm habang nasa Philippine Sea, ayon sa DOST-PAGASA ngayong Sabado, Jan. 17.

Huli itong namataan sa layong 120 km silangan hilagang-silangan ng Catarman, Northern Samar o 175 km silangan ng Juban, Sorsogon.

May taglay itong lakas ng hangin na 85 km/h at pagbugsong 105 km/h.

Ayon sa forecast, mananatili ito sa tropical storm category habang kumikilos palapit sa Eastern Visayas at Southern Luzon. Hindi naman inaalis ang posibilidad na lumakas at maging severe tropical storm category pa ang bagyo.

Patuloy na kumikilos pa-Hilagang kanluran ang bagyong habang nasa may Philippine Sea.

Ayon sa PAGASA, huling namataan ang mata ng bagyo, 370 km, Silangan ng Surigao City.

Nakataas naman ang storm signal warning sa mga probinsya sa Luzon, Visayas, at Mindanao:

Albay is currently under Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal (TCWS) No. 2—meaning winds of 39–61 km/h may be expected within 36 hours.

There is also a high risk of life-threatening storm surge (peak heights exceeding 3 m) for coastal/exposed communities in Albay in the next ~48 hours.

The highest wind signal that may be hoisted later is TCWS No. 5 (winds ≥ 185 km/h) depending on how the system intensifies and tracks.

TINO is currently estimated with maximum sustained winds of 110 km/h near the centre and gusts up to 135 km/h.

The storm is moving west-southwestward at about 30 km/h.

Wind Signal status:

Signal No. 2 is hoisted for parts of Visayas and Mindanao (central/southern Eastern Samar, parts of Samar, Leyte, Biliran, Dinagat Islands, Surigao del Norte/Surigao del Sur, Agusan del Norte) with expected winds of 62-88 km/h.

Signal No. 1 is hoisted for other nearby provinces such as Sorsogon, Masbate, southern Albay, some islands (Romblon, Mindoro), and more, with expected winds of 39-61 km/h.

Aside from wind, there is a high risk of storm surge in low-lying coastal communities in the affected regions.
