Strengthening Farm Tourism Partnerships 🍃🌾🚜

On July 22, 2026, our team conducted a field assessment in collaboration with the Provincial Tourism Office to evaluate identified local farms with strong potential for development into vibrant Agri-Tourism sites.

This joint effort aims to create sustainable destinations that promote both agricultural education and recreational experiences for visitors, while empowering local farm communities.

During the site visits, key farm owners and managers were identified to participate in the upcoming specialized training programs scheduled for August 2–4, 2026:

• Fun Farms Orientation: Planting the Seeds of Agritourism
• Philippine Farm Tour Guide Training with the Filipino Brand of Service Excellence (FBSE)

Through these initiatives, we continue our commitment to fostering sustainable tourism, enhancing local livelihoods, and promoting the unique agricultural heritage of our province.

𝗠𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗺 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 | 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟮𝟭, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

The Maddela Tourism, Culture and the Arts successfully conducted its Municipal Tourism Council Meeting last July 21,2026, with the leadership of our Municipal Mayor Hon. Rimel C. Tolentino bringing together the Tourism Stakeholders, representatives from the private sector, members of the Municipal Tourism Council, and the Municipal Culture and the Arts Council, CENRO, and Quirino Tourist Police Unit.

The meeting focused on significant programs and initiatives aimed at strengthening the municipality's tourism and cultural development. Key agenda included the formulation of the Cultural Development Plan for CY 2027–2029, presentation of the CY 2026 accomplishments, promotion and development of local products, enhancement of the municipality's official Tourism page as a platform for information and promotion, and updates on the ongoing Cultural Mapping initiative.

The active participation and collaborative engagement of all stakeholders reflect the municipality's shared commitment to preserving cultural heritage, promoting sustainable tourism, supporting local industries, and advancing programs that contribute to inclusive community development.

The Local Government Unit extends its sincere appreciation to all council members, tourism stakeholders, and partner agencies for their continued commitment and valuable contributions. Through strengthened collaboration and shared vision, we remain dedicated to fostering a vibrant tourism industry while safeguarding the rich cultural identity and heritage of our municipality.
