ALL ABOARD: MRT-7 TO SLASH QUEZON CITY–BULACAN TRAVEL TO JUST 34 MINUTES!
After years of delays, the Metro Rail Transit Line 7 (MRT-7) is finally on track to transform commuting between Quezon City and Bulacan. Spanning 22 kilometers with 14 stations from North Avenue in Quezon City to San Jose del Monte in Bulacan, MRT-7 aims to cut travel time from several hours to just 34 minutes. 
San Miguel Corporation (SMC) has partnered with South Korea’s Korea Railroad Corporation (KORAIL) for the system’s maintenance and operations. Test runs are expected by the end of 2025, with full operations slated for 2026. 
Key stations and nearby landmarks include:
• North Avenue Station: Near SM North EDSA, Trinoma, and Veterans Memorial Medical Center.
• Quezon Memorial Circle Station: Adjacent to Quezon Memorial Shrine, Quezon City Hall, and Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife Center. 
• University Avenue Station: Close to UP Diliman, UP–Ayala Land TechnoHub, and PhilCoa.
• Tandang Sora Station: Serving residential areas along Commonwealth Avenue.
• Don Antonio Station: Near Ever Gotesco Commonwealth and Don Antonio Heights.
• Batasan Station: Adjacent to Batasang Pambansa Complex. 
• Manggahan Station: Serving residential communities in Commonwealth.
• Doña Carmen Station: Near Puregold Commonwealth and residential areas.
• Regalado Station: Close to Fairview Terraces and Robinsons Novaliches.
• Mindanao Avenue Station: Serving the Mindanao Avenue area.
• Quirino Highway Station: Near SM City Fairview and Novaliches District Hospital.

The MRT-7 project is poised to significantly improve connectivity and reduce congestion in Metro Manila and neighboring provinces.
