Technics RS 1500 Rebuild by Tim de Paravicini.

It took me 2-3 years after constant communication with Mr. Tim to finally said Yes to make one for me.

As you know Tim is very much busy and involve into Pro Recording. Studios such as MFSL RTI and others utilizes his equipments for for consumer and Audiophile recordings. He even rebuild Paul Mc Cartney’s Tape Deck.

Aside from a complete makeover, the Technics electronics are replaced with Tim's. Bandwidth is considerably increased at all EQ settings. Tim also adds his own equalization curve with bandwidth greater than either NAB or CCIR called TIMZ.

I first actually heard his Tape Deck rebuild last Munich Hifi Show 2017. Since then I aspire to have one!

We have been listening to this unit for 2 days now. Playing all Genre from Vocals to Classical complex music.

Tim's tape had the all the sonic qualities that one Music Lover should ask for with his modification, system is ballsy and dynamic bass, a huge soundstage, limitless dynamic range and most of all Musically Engaging. You will only wish that tape becomes more accessible and affordable. But Who knows?....
