The City Government of Kabankalan, through the Office of Tourism, Culture and the Arts, announces the conduct of Mural Painting: Protecting Nature Through Art, in collaboration with BOYSEN.

A workshop will be held on October 9, 2026 at the Kabankalan City Cultural Hub, followed by the mural painting proper on October 10-11, 2026 at the Balicaocao Eco-Park.

The activity aims to promote environmental awareness and stewardship through the visual arts, while providing local artists a venue to showcase their craft and contribute to the cultural development of the city.

A night of gratitude, recognition, and celebration for the dedicated establishments, tourism partners, and individuals who continue to contribute to the growth and development of tourism in Kabankalan City.

As part of the Tourism Week 2026 celebration, the City Tourism, Culture and the Arts Office proudly recognized establishments that have demonstrated their commitment to quality tourism services, responsible tourism practices, and the continued development of Kabankalan’s tourism industry.

Recognition was given to establishments accredited by the Department of Tourism (DOT) for their compliance with tourism standards and their continued commitment to providing quality services and experiences to visitors.

We also honored establishments that have consistently submitted and passed their Tourist Arrival Reports, both Overnight and Day-Time Reports, providing valuable data that helps the City monitor tourism activities, understand visitor movements, and strengthen tourism planning and development.

A special congratulations to all establishments that participated in the Heritage Market Kiosk Creativity Award, showcasing creativity, local identity, and the rich heritage of Kabankalan through their respective kiosks.
