On behalf of the Orion Municipal Tourism Office, we are pleased to share that the Provincial Tourism Office of Bataan, in partnership with the Department of Tourism (DOT), conducted the Eco-Tour Guides Training from August 24 to 31, 2026, at the Bataan Tourism Pavilion, City of Balanga, Bataan.

The Municipality of Orion proudly sent two representatives to participate in this meaningful learning opportunity. Despite the challenges brought by the typhoon during the training period, our representatives remained committed and determined to attend and complete the program.

The training commenced with an opening message from Acting Provincial Tourism Officer Ms. Danica Lo**ta C. Tigas. A total of 34 representatives from identified community-based ecotourism organizations and Local Government Units (LGUs) across Bataan participated in the learning sessions.

The Filipino Brand of Service Excellence (FBSE) is one of the DOTโ€™s flagship programs focused on enhancing the character and capabilities of tourism workers by instilling the values of excellent Filipino service in the tourism and hospitality industry.

The introductory module laid the foundation for the participants as they continue their journey toward becoming competent, knowledgeable, and service-oriented eco-tour guides, ready to showcase Bataanโ€™s natural and cultural treasures while providing warm and exceptional Filipino hospitality.

Congratulations to all the participants, and especially to our two representatives from Orion for their dedication and perseverance! We look forward to seeing you share your knowledge and skills in promoting and protecting the tourism destinations of Orion, Bataan. ๐Ÿ’š
