The festival is also a thanksgiving celebration in honor of Our Lady of Fatima and Señor San Roque, reflecting the community's deep devotion and gratitude for their blessings.

A lasting symbol of Julita's identity, the Hulatan Festival reflects the town's rich history, warm hospitality, and enduring faith.

A productive coordination meeting was held with the Eastern Visayas Tourism Association (EVTA) and the Association of Leyte Tour Operators (ALTO) to discuss updates on the Leyte Tourism Initiatives.

The meeting also served as an opportunity to seek the support and collaboration of both organizations in advancing program and activities that will further promote Leyte as a sustainable tourism.

With the continued partnership of our tourism stakeholders, we remain committed to strengthening the tourism industry and showcasing the best of what Leyte has to offer.
