Beneath the waves of our oceans lies a growing problem caused by human waste and pollution. Plastic bottles, fishing lines, sachets, textiles and other garbage continue to threaten marine life and damage coral reefs that countless species call home.
As children of the Earth, we have the responsibility to give back and care for the environment that sustains us. Through underwater clean-up activities, Mindoro AdvenTours, Mindoro FreeDiving Buddies and Dalampasigan Youth unite to collect garbage beneath the sea and help restore the beauty of our marine ecosystems. Every piece of trash removed from the ocean is a step toward protecting marine biodiversity and ensuring cleaner waters for future generations.
This Motherโs Day serves as a reminder that caring for nature is also an act of gratitude. Just as our mothers nurture and protect us, Mother Earth continuously provides food, shelter, livelihood, and life itself. It is only right that we return the love by becoming stewards of the ocean and defenders of the environment.
