In partnership with the Department of Tourism Region 1, the Local Government Unit of Burgos, La Union headed by Municipal Mayor Hon. Delfin C. Comedis, Jr. successfully conducted the Filipino Brand of Service Excellence (FBSE) Training in the SB Session Hall, Municipal Building, Burgos, La Union. Participants of the training were municipal employees and barangay officials.

The training emphasized the Filipino Values and its importance in the delivery of excellent service. It also included ways of handling complaints and concerns as well as understanding and engaging customers using a specific technique, highlighting the Mabuhay Gesture – a simple yet powerful symbol of warmth, care and genuine hospitality that define the Filipino brand of service.
Ms. Lorie Jane V. Rosales, a DOT Accredited Speaker and Master Trainer served as the Resource Speaker during the whole-day training.

This initiative is part of the LGU’s continuous commitment to excellent service delivery to every individual who visits the municipality.

The Municipality of Burgos, La Union headed by Municipal Mayor Delfin C. Comedis, Jr. joins the nation in commemorating the 83rd celebration of Araw ng Kagitingan and Philippine Veterans Week.

As a tribute to the heroism, bravery and sacrifices of our Filipino soldiers, particularly the Battle of Bataan and Corrigidor in World War II., the municipality conducted a flag raising ceremony attended by the Municipal Officials and Employees, National and Provincial agencies.
