**NITAS 3rd Quarterly Membership and Business Event Meeting (MBEM) Summary Blog**

On August 30, 2024, members and guests of NITAS gathered for the 3rd Quarterly Membership and Business Event Meeting (MBEM) at the scenic Altaroca Mountain Resort and Events Place in Antipolo City.

Following up on the momentum from our last meeting in February at Crown Regency, this event continued our mission of keeping members updated and aligned with the latest trends in the travel industry.

Themed **"Strong and Business Driven"**, the event started with a vibrant networking session, where members, friends, and industry partners had the opportunity to reconnect and exchange insights.

The formal business meeting began with a heartfelt **prayer for strong business**, led by Anthony Ang, General Manager of Toursunlimited Co., followed by a powerful rendition of the Philippine National Anthem.

Rennante Dela Cruz, General Manager of Altaroca Mountain Resort, warmly welcomed the attendees, while guest speaker Mario Bacani, City Tourism Officer of Antipolo, highlighted the city's efforts to boost tourism.

Angel Ramos Bognot, NITAS President, delivered an inspiring president’s message, emphasizing the association's role in fostering growth and collaboration within the industry.

The event's highlight, the **Product Exchange Showcase (PREX)**, featured exciting presentations from various destinations and services:

- **International Destination**: Dubai, UAE
- **Philippine Destination**: Antipolo
- Presentations from **Crown Regency Hotels & Resorts**, **DTM**, and **Bless Travel** added depth to the product knowledge shared.

The meeting concluded on a lively note with raffles, fun activities, and a closing message from Wilma Panganiban, Operations Manager of Afro Asian Travel & Tours, Inc.

Important Announcement: NAIA Terminal Reassignments 🚨

Starting September 14, 2024, SMC will assume management of NAIA. To enhance air traffic efficiency and overall passenger experience, airline reassignments across the NAIA terminals will be implemented.
