Cebu Pacific Air Acquires AirSWIFT: Expanded Flight Access to El Nido and More Starting March 24, 2025

NOTICE TO CUSTOMERS

Cebu Air, Inc. ("Cebu Air") has acquired AirSWIFT Transport, Inc. ("AirSWIFT") as of October 7, 2024.

With this acquisition, Cebu Air customers will have expanded access to flights to El Nido, Palawan, as well as other popular destinations served by AirSWIFT.

Starting March 24, 2025, accredited Cebu Pacific customers with access to the Cebu Air Reservation System will be able to book AirSWIFT flights.

FYI WCA ADVISORY :

Beginning March 30, 2025 some Philippine Airlines - PAL express and Cebu Pacific flights utilizing turboprop aircraft (Bombardier Q400 & ATR) will transfer from NAIA to Clark International Airport and other secondary airports as part of NAIA's optimization plan.

This move however is expected to affect over 5 million passengers flying to destinations serviced by turboprops of DG, 2R & 2P.

The number of visa-free destinations varies slightly between sources, with some listing 39 countries (VisaGuide) and others up to 67 (GMA Network) This discrepancy may be due to differences in classification, such as including visa-on-arrival or eVisa destinations.
