After a painful breakup in February 2023, Ritz Laude set out on a spontaneous trip to Siargao that led to a life-changing journey across all 82 provinces of the Philippines. Seeking healing, he completed the feat in just 1 year and 7 months, becoming the fastest Filipino to do so, surpassing the previous 2-year record.

What began as an escape turned into emotional recovery as Ritz found peace in nature, culture, and connection with strangers. “I didn’t even realize I was healing,” he said. By the end of his journey, the pain was gone and so was the need to look back.

His story, sparked by a simple Facebook post, is now inspiring others to find strength through travel and rediscovery.
