✈️ BAGONG IMMIGRATION GATES SA NAIA TERMINAL 3

1. Biometric Immigration e-Gates (Automated Gates)

May bago nang automated biometric immigration gates sa NAIA Terminal 3 para sa international departures at arrivals.

Ano ito?
Ito ay mga self-service immigration gates na gumagamit ng:
Passport scanning
Facial recognition (biometrics)
Kapag pumasa ang verification, awtomatikong bubukas ang gate at hindi na kailangang humarap agad sa immigration officer.

Gaano kabilis?
Umaabot lang ng humigit-kumulang 15–30 seconds kada pasahero kung walang aberya.

Layunin nito:
Bawasan ang mahahabang pila
Mas mabilis na immigration process
Mas maayos na daloy ng pasahero lalo na tuwing peak season

2. Sino ang Pwedeng Gumamit ng e-Gates?
✔ Filipino passport holders
✔ Valid at machine-readable passport
✔ International travelers (selected flights / phase-by-phase implementation)

⚠️ Paalala:
Hindi pa lahat ng pasahero ay agad pinapadaan sa e-gates dahil phased rollout pa lang ito. May mga pagkakataon na ire-redirect ka pa rin sa manual immigration counter.

3. Dedicated Immigration Counters para sa OFWs
Bukod sa e-gates, may hiwalay at dedicated immigration counters para sa OFWs sa NAIA Terminal 3.

Mga benepisyo:
Mas mabilis na proseso para sa OFWs
Iwas siksikan sa regular passenger lines
May assistance desk kung may concern sa documents

📍 Malapit ito sa OFW Lounge, kung saan may:
Libreng upuan at pahingahan
Charging stations
Wi-Fi access
Assistance mula sa government staff

4. Manual Immigration Counters (Mananatili pa rin)
Kahit may bagong teknolohiya, hindi pa tinatanggal ang manual counters.
Ginagamit pa rin ito kung:
Hindi gumana ang biometric scan
May issue sa passport
May additional verification
First-time travelers na kailangan ng interview

5. Mahahalagang Paalala sa Mga Bibiyahe
✔ Ihanda agad ang passport at boarding pass
✔ Siguraduhing maayos ang kondisyon ng passport (hindi punit o kupas)
✔ Sundin ang instructions ng immigration staff
✔ Huwag kabahan—normal lang kung ilipat sa manual counter

6. Bakit Mahalagang Upgrade Ito?
Ang bagong immigration gates ay bahagi ng mas malawak na modernization ng NAIA, na layong:
Pabilisin ang airport processes
Pagandahin ang travel experience ng mga Pilipino at dayuhan
Bawasan ang stress at pila sa immigration
