Philippine Geographic Society

Philippine Geographic Society Philippines has 7107 islands representing rich travel and tourism opportunities, diverse culture that will be covered by Philippine Geographic Society.

The moment we saw the marine life and the beauty of the underwater world and meeting the people of the coastal communities who are the true front-line ambassadors whom could protect & conserve their resources, our lives has completely changed. We decided to make it a point to share this beauty and become a beacon of hope for sustainable tourism and co existence with the environment/places we publi

sh. Our journey and stories could evolve into passion among readers to be an ocean and Ecosystem enthusiast to benefit the Philippines. Awareness can be channeled to benefit several conservation missions by educating a more responsible & earth loving community. We have a strong interest in marine science and people working to rejuvenate and preserve our oceans from its current declining state. We intend to use passion in photography and share stories to portray the beauty and rich life in the Philippines and it has been always a vision to use art to drive and inspire change for the hope to create a ripple that can save our countries Oceans and marine life as well as ecosystems that support it and an establish and environment that is resilient to its possible threats. We are hopeful that significant individual efforts, such as awareness of what’s happening in the places that need help in preserving all these beautiful places and living beings within these places in the long run, after all we are part of the chain that has created a huge impact to the slow destruction of essential life cycles. All the photographers, filmmakers, distinguished scientists and ambassadors who have a voice would make a significant difference to help mold this world , starting from the Philippines, into a better place. PGS expects challenges beyond the usual tropical comfort zone but we are ready to embark on this journey to leave a mark in a people’s emotion and ignite their innate ability to work towards conservation and pass it on to the next generations to come.
