Villa Escudero

Villa Escudero is an 800-hectare coconut plantation and resort that spreads across the towns of Tiaong and Dolores in Quezon Province and in San Pablo City, Laguna and is renowned for its stunning natural scenery and cultural richness. Guests can enjoy dining at tables set in a flowing river, providing a unique and refreshing dining experience. The resort also features a museum with an extensive collection of historical artifacts and offers activities such as carabao cart rides and traditional Filipino dance performances.

How to get there?
🚍 From Manila, ride a bus bound for Lucena at any of the following bus terminals (Araneta City, Market Market, Kamias, Buenda or PITX)
🚍 Buses are available 24 hours at Buendia and Kamias Bus Terminals via JAC Liner
🚍 Alight just after the Quezon-Laguna boundary Arch, where the entrance to Villa Escudero is located

Travel Tips
✅️ Bring an umbrella, cap and portable/rechargeable fan (if you can)
✅️ If you plan to use their swimming pool, don’t forget to bring proper swimming attire
✅️ Video recording and photography are prohibited inside the museums
✅️ Cultural show starts at 2 o’clock in the afternoon
✅️ Lockers are available near the swimming pool for a fee of 100 pesos (a key deposit of 400 pesos will be collected as well)

Tara na sa Quezon!

Niyogyugan Festival showcases the best of what you can experience in Quezon Province. It is from the combined words “niyog” (coconut) and “yugyog” (to shake). The festival features all the municipalities and cities that comprise Quezon Province through their lovely booths and other various activities such as the most awaiting grand street dance and float competitions.

How to get there?
🚍 From Manila, ride a bus bound for Lucena at any of the following bus terminals (Araneta City, Market Market, Kamias, Buenda or PITX)
🚍 Buses are available 24 hours at Buendia and Kamias Bus Terminals via JAC Liner
🚍 Alight in Lucena Diversion or Grand Terminal and ride a jeep going to Quezon Provincial Capitol

Kadayawan Festival is a yearly festival in Davao City featuring the rich culture of the different ethnic tribes in Davao and in celebration of diversity and thanksgiving for life and harvest.

The festival’s name is derived from the Mandaya word ”madayaw,” which means good, valuable or beautiful.
