𝐎𝐍𝐆𝐎𝐈𝐍𝐆 | Formulation of the Municipal Tourism Development Plan (MTDP)

The Technical Working Group (TWG) is currently conducting Phase 5: Tourism Product and Circuit Development and Phase 6: Program, Project, and Investment Planning.

The activity focuses on identifying and developing the municipality's priority tourism products and circuits, and on formulating strategic programs, projects, and investment priorities for sustainable tourism development.

The Technical Working Group (TWG) for the Municipal Tourism Development Plan actively participated in Phase 4: Stakeholder Consultation and Participatory Inputs held on July 23, 2026, at the Asenso Hall, Municipal Building.

The activity featured Focus Group Discussions (FGDs), SWOT Analysis, and Problem Tree Analysis—providing a collaborative platform for stakeholders to share insights, identify key challenges, and shape strategic directions for local tourism development.

The workshop was facilitated by the Municipal Tourism Unit, together with External Consultant Mr. Hanz Cydeil Fernandez.

1. All photographs intended for the online poll, including both daytime and nighttime images shall be 𝐜𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫 (𝐎𝐏𝐈𝐎) to ensure consistency, quality and compliance with established standards.

2. Follow the official page of the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist (OPAg) – South Cotabato, where the online voting will be conducted.

3. Voting will officially open on 𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐲 𝟏𝟒, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, 𝐚𝐭 𝟑:𝟎𝟎 𝐏𝐌 and will close on 𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐲 𝟏𝟕, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, 𝐚𝐭 𝟑:𝟎𝟎 𝐏𝐌.

4. 𝐎𝐧𝐥𝐲 ❤️ 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 on the official OPAg Facebook post shall be 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐬 𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐝 𝐯𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐬.

5. Other Facebook reactions such as 𝐋𝐢𝐤𝐞, 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐞, 𝐇𝐚𝐡𝐚, 𝐖𝐨𝐰, 𝐒𝐚𝐝, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐲 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐛𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐝 in the vote count.

6. Only organic Heart Reactions will be considered valid. Reactions generated through boosted posts, paid promotions, or any form of artificial engagement shall not be counted.

7. The Bahay Kubo entry that receives the highest number of valid and organic Heart Reactions at the end of the voting period shall be declared the People’s Choice Award Winner.

The Municipal Arts, Culture, and Tourism Development Council convened for its Second (2nd) Quarter Meeting on June 22, 2026 to discuss updates on previous matters, review ongoing initiatives, and address relevant concerns in the Municipality of Sto. Niño.

A significant portion of the meeting focused on the Municipal Tourism Development Plan (MTDP) formulation, particularly the Visioning Workshop.

Sa pagwagayway ng ating pambansang watawat, muli nating ginugunita ang kabayanihan at sakripisyo ng mga Pilipinong nag-alay ng kanilang buhay upang makamtan ang kalayaang ating tinatamasa ngayon.

Higit sa isang pagdiriwang, ang Araw ng Kalayaan ay paalala na ang pagmamahal sa bayan ay naipapakita sa ating araw-araw na pagkakaisa, pagtutulungan, at malasakit sa kapwa. Sa bawat hamon na ating nalalampasan bilang isang sambayanan, pinatutunayan nating buhay ang diwa ng pagiging Pilipino—matatag, makabayan, at may malasakit sa isa't isa.

Sama-sama nating ipagpatuloy ang pagbuo ng isang mas maunlad, mapayapa, at masaganang kinabukasan para sa susunod na henerasyon.
