Chinita Boutique Hotel & Restaurant – Panglao Island
“One of the best and quiet Hotel and Resort in panglao, although its far from the beach but they have swimming pool to enjoy your day. The staff is very accomodating and kind, they will serve your breakfast on time 🥰”
“Loved my stay here. Very hospitable staff, clean resort, clean rooms and good food.
Thanks to everyone who made my stay so pleasant!”
“Stayed here for two nights. The room was spacious, slept so well the bed was comfortable. The AC was strong and quiet, it kept the whole room cold. The bathroom was clean, with hot water. Best place if you dont want the crowds, and noise of alona area. Will need to rent a car or motocycle. The staff were all so kind and hard working. We were allowed early check in. This came with free bfast of your choice and coffee. Highly recommend!”
“Nice place with spacious rooms”
“Very clean an organized”
“Highly recommended accommodation. Very clean and nice. The breakfast is delicious and the women on the staff are charming. Good pool and the motorcycles they have for rent are great. As a recommendation, they could put some fruit at breakfast, but everything else is great, thank you very much for everything.”
“A very nice surprise. A clean, cute hotel and the staff takes great care of us! Thank you for this week. If you want to stay in Pangloa! This is where you need to stay!”
“We did not expect to find the hotel at the end of a small alley but it is a very pleasant little bubble.
The staff is attentive and understanding. The quality/price ratio is really very good.”
“Clean room!
Lovely staff, especially the young student who helped us a lot 👍👏
Location: there's not much around, but that was our goal, so it was great!”
“Very warm welcome! Laudry is a 1-minute walk away and scooter rental is available. We had a great stay! 😁🙏”

Ingkumhan Falls – Dimiao
“We went here a couple of days ago and had a fantastic time. We weren’t planning on going to this waterfall and just randomly stopped. The woman who guided us was awesome. I wish I could remember her name, but she said she is the only woman guide. She let us to the waterfall and it was just my wife and I there. We managed to climb up the waterfall and I jumped from the cliff. The guide took many pictures of us and was a lot of fun and a lot of help. We stayed for quite a while and swam and just enjoyed the beauty of the place. I would highly recommend it. The guides work off of donations, so the cost of going is up to you.”
“Visited it ~8am and we were the only people there, so had nice experience. Entry is 50php/person.
Fall itself is tiny, but whole place is magical + it has 2 jumping spots (3+5meters). It’s few hundred meters steep downhill to get there. We have been accompanied by local guide Peter (no payment needed, just leave some tips).”
“Completely empty & serene. It is huge and so beautiful, and very few people come here!
There is a 30 peso entrance fee and a steep climb to down to the falls. There’s a few places you can jump from & climb to. The water is cool, deep & calm and so so blue!!”
“100% recommend anyone making their way up to these falls. You can do the more popular falls further up the road at a much greater price but we found these falls to provide much better and authentic experience. You pay what you feel is appropriate and the guides share it between themselves (we tipped 200 pesos). The manager/owner RJ was an absolute legend and provided tonnes of information regarding the rest of our stay in Bohol. We spent a good hour here but certainly could have stayed longer. There are also 4 different level jumps and a “jacuzzi” in the waterfall.”
“It's a great waterfall and not crowded at all. We were there for one hour and had the waterfall for ourselves. It is very easy to get there, just follow the directions on Google Maps and when you reached the point ask for the great guide Welbert Cagalitan, he will bring you to the entrance where you can find a good parking spot.”
“This waterfall is great! A little hard to find and usually helps to ask the locals who will happily guide you there. There are a couple of places you can jump off from the highest being about 10-15m up. There is also an easier place to jump from that is about 5m up. I went early in the morning and had the place completely to myself. There are a few other waterfalls nearby that you can get to so you can definitely make a day of it!”
“Easy to access, going down the hill to see waterfals. Three different spots to jump into the water. Easy to swim right under the waterfall. Worth visiting on rainy days because there are few people.”
“Very quiet place, we were alone there, no fee, nice turquoise water, jumping from the cliff”
“When I came it’s raining but the atmosphere it’s amazing and it’s really nice place there is really good people”
“We visited just before sunset. It was quite tricky to find (Google maps doesn’t take you to the right spot ), but luckily some friendly locals drove us down. The waterfalls are beautiful and we were the only people there.”
“Choose these fall over Pahangog Falls!! Pahangog Falls are a scam. They charge you for everything and are quite aggressive. At Ingkumhan falls you can go by your self or take a guide for very cheap. It is very peaceful, and the track is paved the whole way 😊”
“A group of us went and it was absolutely awesome. I would highly recommend it, and the guys were very helpful and very considerate.”
“Beautiful spot, if you’re lucky enough and go early you may have it all to yourself”
“Beautiful falls, short hike.”
“Totally beautiful place! This waterfall is worth seeing. The water is very pleasant, cooling, but not icy as it happens in such places. Additionally, it has a beautiful blue color and the vegetation surrounding it is beautiful!
Attention! The waterfall is marked incorrectly on Google Maps. Ask local residents how to get there. They will be happy to answer 😊
There is a small fee at the entrance, but it's really very small! 😊”

Scent of Green Papaya Resort – Alona Panglao
“What a gem! We checked out from a nearby hotel as we couldn’t sleep so we took this by chance. Lucky us! The staff is so good and helpful. Food and drinks are good priced and the area is very nice. We enjoyed it so much and no there’s not that far to walk to the beach.. but they also have free shuttle - what a service”
“A very nice hotel, the staff is always friendly, helpful and always smiling! Some of the best service we had in the Philippines!
The hotel is near enough of the restaurants and everything else yet far enough from the noise and the chaos. We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel!”
“This is a very nice hotel. Everything was very clean, comfortable and well maintained. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The pool was lovely and we really enjoyed our covered balcony (during several downpours). A great place for accessing Alona beach and all the tours.”
“One of our most favorite hotel in the Philippines! Spacious and clean rooms, the nicest staff!!!! Great swimming pool and good location that is not in the middle of all the mess but close enough. Also there are free shuttle buses to alona beach and back during the day.”
“Very conveniently located just off the main road. Nice and clean rooms, big pool. Very, very friendly and helpful staff. You have a choice of eating in or going out. Good selection of beers and cocktails. Will highly recommend!”
“A lovely place to stay, centrally located (without being on the main streets) and just a 20-minute walk from Alona Beach (the hotel also offers free shuttle buses). The staff was very friendly, and the breakfast was delicious.”
“They are super kind.
When you leave the resort to have a hopping to or to air port, they will provide you some food to take out.
The resort was clean and well managed.
They have a security guarding at night.
You should select your tomorrow breakfast menu in advance.
You can select one among 6~7 menu.
I recommend you to choose American style.
There are two pools, big main and small sub in the middle of resort.”
“Great quiet location, pool, handy to very nice restaurants and bars and 15 min walk to Alona Beach”
“The staff are very accommodating, and there is a free transportation to Alona Beach. The view is picturesque. I highly suggest our stay here.”
“Great room (family room), very nice and clean pool area. Friendly staff. We enjoyed our stay.”
“The place was small but very clean and well kept. The staff were amazing. Very attentive to each guest's needs. Shout out to these amazing people: Lyn and MJ at reception, Keno and Michael , our wait staff, the pool guy, the kitchen staff, the housekeeping staff. So sorry we didn't get all the names. But, suffice it to say, they made our stay very cozy and comfortable. Hats off! Definitely recommend this place and its staff 👏👏👏!!!”

Aliria Bed and Breakfast – Tagbilaran City
“Stayed here from Feb 4 until Feb 6 and this was a great stay. The room was comfortable and clean and the lady on reception was sweet and informative on local attractions
No issues with the location and I was able to park a motorbike outside overnight”
“It's good and budget friendly. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We had a problem with our AC the second night, we reported it, and they took action right away.
We need not worry about our breakfast cause it's included in our stay so yum. The breakfast meal was filling enough. (Love the rooftop view)
Wish they have a hair blower in the room tho 🤔 or maybe we should've asked at the reception.
Overall, it's a good stay and worth the money.
WiFi 🆗 It's near Mcdo, the Island mall and 7/11 btw.”
“The staff is approachable, and we enjoy our stay.”
“The place is great! Clean room, beds and bath. The people are friendly and accommodating. I've heard of this place as newly constructed and it didn't disappoint me so far. Will definitely recommend this place for small group or solo travellers. Oh, they also serve breakfast and dinner.”
“Very nice rooms, splendid WiFi (as compared to many other hotels). The only downside was the location and rocky roads leading up to the hotel.”
“If you are looking for a short stay and are on a budget, look no further. Here you get tv, aircon and good wifi. There is also a cosy restaurant at the rooftop that serves breakfast. Highly recommended”

Himontagon Hills – Loay
“Views are amazing , much better than chocolate hills.
No tourists locals only. A little messy trash , but what the hell didn't spoil the vistas.
Concrete road 2/3rds of the way up , then really rough not advising a small bike trip for the last section.
Truly awesome place”
“The view is absolutely gorgeous from the top of this hill. Kind of hard to ride to the top with a little scooter because the road is very damaged but still very doable. We liked this place very much, actually much more than chocolate hill. The view is better? It's free and it's not full of tourists. It it wasn't so hot we would have stayed for a while to enjoy the view longer”
“Great view! 👌 Relaxing place but there's a lot of trash. People just don't know how to bring their trash with them or at least Local gov should put some trash bin in the area. Overall experience was nice.”
“This is a nice place to visit. It is kind of hidden, but totally worth it. The views are amazing.
The only drawback is that there is too much trash around. Why the people there do not clean it up is beyond my understandig.”
“The place is wonderful and peaceful. The area needs maintenance. We'll The place is no entrance so you can enjoy.”
“Best place to go if you wanna have chocolate hills like experience but would recommend to go before sunset or in early morning when it's not too hot like it gets in afternoon.
Don't go there after it's dark because no streetlights and need to hike a little bit before you reach there.”
“The place has a really nice view. I suggest, you witness the sunrise there. However, the place lacks maintenance. Trashes are scattered in some areas despite the trash bins provided.”

Bohol Farm – Panglao Island
“Best of our Bohol trip. Food was exceptional. I have no words. Staff were very accommodating. Place was great, have a few areas you can explore. It keeps you interested. Will definitely come back!
Is there an area with the beehives? Do you have bees though? I forgot to ask haha but it was superb!”
“We went here during down time, on a weekday, and it was a very good decision because we got to enjoy the ambience of the restaurant and the great food.
The garlic shrimp pasta was prolly the best I had; the pasta was cooked to perfection and the shrimps were big like they’re for a separate viand, lol.
They also have a complementary bread and chips that were really nice, too. They have different flavors of organically made butters, which I really liked. Man, I could eat those everyday, and not get sick of their taste.
Bohol Farms is very nice, and we saw how they built a small community where they help each other to have a source of income, besides from the restaurant.
Would definitely go back here, if given a chance.”
“We really enjoyed eating at Bohol Bee Farm; it was likely our best meal there. I love their seafood soup. It’s sulit for its price and very delicious! It also has a lot of seafood in it. . The ribs were okay, tasty and good but not on a “wow” level. Tried their dragon fruit ice cream too and it’s a must try. They also gave us a free complimentary bread and chips. Service is fast. I think the only thing that bothered me during our stay was the flies.”
“The prices are reasonable for a restaurant with fresh ingredients and a beautiful location and view. The breeze from the mangroves cool the place down. The free starter of squash bread, cabcab, and their own butter was delicious. My salad was very filling. As a tourist, it is worth a visit and meal.”
“Perfect place to eat when you visit Bohol. ❤️
Food is good, while the ambiance is great!
Their Ice cream is a must try! Very generous servings and had a complimentary snacks.
Thank you Bohol Bee Farm!”
“Wonderful Place with very nice food and service
There are a lot of people and even that they are fast and food is delicious
I also liked the pizza and I'm Italian
The pizza has a different new taste but is very good”
“Probably the best restaurant in Bohol that we've tried so far! They provided complimentary squash bread and cassava chips with two different dips while we wait for our food.
The fresh herb pasta is al dente. The pork ribs with mango sauce already comes with your choice of rice (red or white) and a side of salad. For 300-400+ per dish, it already includes quite a generous serving.
The place also has an amazing view of the sea. You can go down a flight of stairs at the restaurant to see the rock formations and seagrass through the clear seawater.
Guided farm tours are available but you have to come before lunch time so you could make it before the start of the tour. You could also buy their products at their store.”

Chocolate Hills Adventure Park – Carmen
“This place is big and has a all you can adventure pass for the ziplines as of March 2025. If you do the ziplines be prepared to climb a lot of strairs but it's worth it. Had a great time but the bike ride was a bit scary for us”
“CHAP was incredible! The rush bike zip was a dream I finally got to experience. The views were breathtaking, and the staff was super friendly and professional. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for an adventure!”
“I can’t believe some people here says it’s too expensive. Are they crazy? 1,500 for unlimited 3 rides we did ( bike, Superman, surf) that’s is less than 30$ go to Costa Rica and many other countries for a ride it’s 100$ just A ride not unlimited. I love everything about this park. The people are so friendly especially the manager. They gave us the best service . They took our pictures and videos . It’s fantastic! Everything was amazing!”
“Had to pay 100 pesos entrance fee which includes the shuttle going up the hill as there is no parking just below the tiring stairs from the viewdeck. Staffs are nice and will offer to take a picture of you too so prepare to give a little tip to repay their kindness”
“Beautiful adventure park with lots of activities. It was annoying that they would only let me do one activity, otherwise it would have been a 3 hour wait (so they said, even though there didn’t seem to be many people in the park)
I did the bike ride which was sufficiently scary and fun. I’m giving five starts because of the number of cool activities they have, even if I couldn’t do them, and this incredible view point they have. You get a gorgeous view of the chocolate hills after climbing a ton of stairs. It was much more worthwhile than visiting the chocolate hills tourist spot in my opinion since you don’t have to pay an extra fee just to see the hills”
“Had a very exciting and nerve wrecking experience! The prices at the time is expensive, might be due to inflation, but overall had a great fun.
We arrived at around 10am monday, no guests yet. The staff were very accommodating. They were assissting us and taking photos in all sides. They were very friendly and assures us that we'll be safe.
We got 4 activities, in which I really felt nervous at first but then got the hang of it later. The best part is the cycling in midair!
The view of chocolate hills is also awesome! You can view as many hills from here same as the one in chocolate hills.”

Chocolate Hills View Point – Carmen
“The Chocolate Hills are truly a natural wonder and a must-see destination! These unique, perfectly rounded hills stretch as far as the eye can see, creating a mesmerizing landscape that’s breathtaking from every angle. During the dry season, the hills turn chocolate brown, giving them their iconic name and making the view even more stunning. The viewing deck offers a fantastic panoramic view, ideal for photography and just taking in the beauty of this incredible formation. The area is well-maintained, and the guides are friendly and knowledgeable about the history and geology of the site. A true gem of the Philippines and an unforgettable experience! Five stars!”
“Very nice viewing area on the top of a chocolate hill. Despite all the visitors its still worth going.
Free entry and nice explanatory signs including a Bohol Unesco regional display.
A steep climb up to the start of the steps if you are on bikes like we were.”
“We appreciate the pagodas to shelter us from the heat. We do recommend a designated direction as to who are going up and down the stairs so that we won’t bump into each other! Overall we love the experience! Thank you!!!”
“The Chocolate Hills View Point in Bohol is totally worth the visit! Right when you get out of your car, you’re already treated to some awesome views of the hills. But if you want the real wow factor, make sure to climb up to the viewpoint. It’s not too tough if you’re used to walking, so don’t sweat it.
We got there early, around 10 am, and while it was pretty hot, the view from the top made it all worthwhile. Plus, it’s a prime spot for selfies with those iconic hills in the background. Definitely a highlight of our trip – highly recommend checking it out!”
“Breath taking site. Located at Carmen Bohol. You need to climb like 220 steps to get to the peak point where you will have the perfect view of the chocolate hills. Hand Grills for safety and resting areas are available for those who wanted to take a breather for a while. Drivers can't stay in the area, there is a certain drop off and pick up point. An entrance fee of 30 pesos per head will be collected. A souvenir shop can be found on the lower ground. If you wanted to take pictures on the I love Bohol signage, it is also located on the lower ground.”
“We rode for half of the day to get here, and it was absolutely worth it. The views are beautiful and truly amazing. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience nature at its best!”
“The view is amazing! So many hills as far as eyes can see.”
“A beautiful piece of nature to view while visiting Bohol.
I used a rented scooter to get to the chocolate hills viewpoint.
Since it is not allowed to drive straight to the viewpoint, there's a parking lot 100m before the turn from the main road and into the viewpoint.
Park there, pay entrance fee and board a shuttle going up to the viewpoint.
Once you get to the shuttles final destination, it is a short walk up the stairs to the platform where the chocolate hills spread in all their beauty.
There are restrooms and restaurants as well on top of the hill.”
